The Vocation Awareness Weekend

"As Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon and his brother Andrew, casting a net into the Sea. He said to them, "come follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." At once they left their nets and followed him" Matthew 4:18-19

Q. What is the Come and See Weekend?
The Come and See Vocations Weekend is a gathering of men from all over the state of Florida who are thinking about the priesthood.

Q. What happens during the weekend?
The weekend is designed to help you reflect on God's call in your life. During the weekend, seminarians will give reflections on what brought them to the seminary and how seminary life is. There will be opportunities for prayer and fellowship with the seminarians. Finally, there will be social activities planned and you can be sure of great food and fun.

Q. Who can come?
Vocation Weekend is open to juniors in high school and upwards.

Q. How Much does the weekend cost?
The weekend is FREE. There will also be transportation available from Palm Beach Gardens. Another Pick-up site might be added.

Q. When is the weekend?
The Weekend is from Friday, November 12 - Sunday November 14. We will leave from St. Ignatius Cathedral at 7:00 pm on Friday and return on Sunday about 2:30pm.
